If Pakistan is to take its proper place among the progressive nations of the world, it will have to take up a good deal of leeway in the realm of scientific and technical education which is so necessary for the proper development of the country and utilization of resources.

The establishment of institution like INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERS will greatly stimulate technical research and help in disseminating available information. The INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERS will not only benefit the engineers themselves by improving their technical knowledge but also bring lasting benefits to public services which they are upon to perform. I wish the Institute every success.

Message by President IEP

Engineers of any country are the backbone for the development, resource generation and bringing down the poverty level.Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) a Pioneer Engineering academic Institution has played a vital role in meeting the highly skilled and professional Engineers in Pakistan and abroad in different disciplines.

Present elected body of IEP has kept not only itself abreast of the changes in the Engineering Profession but also is well aware with the aspiration and responsibilities in the Country’s prevailing energy deficient period.

To grace the occasion, I invite all Engineers to come forward and join us to share their experience and our endeavor to kindle a new light of hopes in the dark of night. With the blessing of Allah, we will take the flag of Institution of Engineers (IEP) towards prosperity, progress, a symbol of Proud and zenith of fulfillment and achievement through steady and relentless sacrifices.

Secretary General's Message

As we have entered the twenty first century, our perception towards engineering education has also changed and engineers will be facing more Complex challenges during the next decade.This rapid rate of change in engineering profession will also bring enormous strains on the professional bodies. Present era has been emerged into a combined technologyof multiengineering disciplines where IT is integral part of Every Engineering Profession. Realizing the today and tomorrows requirements, Institution of Engineers Pakistan has emphasized on the use of knowledge based new information tools to respond rapidly enough to the changing world.IEP feels pleasure to launch its New Website containing all new features to enable the engineering fraternity to bring their technical knowhow at par with the changing environment. This website will provide a forum to the engineers for deliberating the solutions of their problems. I invite all engineers to join us for sharing their experience and knowledge with our members .IEP will welcome all proposals and suggestions to make the website more beneficial and helpful for the its members and for all the disciplines of Engineering Profession .

I pray to Almighty Allah that He may give us the courage, strength and perseverance to fulfill the expectations of Our Quaid and the nation.
